Obesity linked with genetic variants – new polygenic risk score

Polygenic risk score connects many genetic variants to determine the risk of a disease – in the case of obesity, it explains even 13.1 kg between the most extreme groups, and demonstrates the major influence of genetics on obesity in adolescents.
