The first successful gene drive in mammals – mice with Tyr gene

Wild-type mice with a wild-type Tyr gene received CopyCat element (guide RNA) and Cas9 (constantly expressed), which resulted in higher inheritance, leading to albino mice with modified Tyr gene.
